$3.9 Million Carryover on Rainbow 6 at Gulfstream Park with Mandatory Payout

A big jackpot is waiting for one lucky winner Sunday at Gulfstream Park. The Rainbow 6 carryover of $3,991,011.90 could swell to nearly $10 million or more when there is a mandatory payout.

The 20-cent wager was not hit Saturday during Pegasus World Cup Day, resulting in a lucrative mandatory payout Sunday.

Multiple tickets with six winners Saturday returned $11,550.02.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool

Sunday’s Rainbow 6 sequence is races 7 through 12 and first race post time is 12:00pm ET.

The last time the Rainbow 6 was hit was December 7, when a lucky ticketholder cashed out for $98,309.32.

There was a big winner Saturday at Gulfstream, and it was 2017 Horse of the Year Gun Runner, who captured the $16 million Pegasus World Cup with a 2-length victory over West Coast. Gun Runner picked up a cool $7 million for the victory and West Coast earned $1.6 million in what became a 2-horse race down the stretch. More than 13 lengths behind the winner was Gunnevera in 3rd to earn $1.3 million. Fear the Cowboy at 74-1 odds won $1 million and completed the Superfecta, which paid $1,142.70 on a $1 ticket. All 12 horses running in the Pegasus World Cup Invitational earned at least $650,000.

One person Sunday could earn more than Gun Runner in the Rainbow 6 at Gulfstream Park. Perhaps it will be the person or group of people that pool these picks together!
